Job Description


Job Responsibility
MAIN DUTIES
o To effectively recruit, induct, lead, manage, train and develop Enforcement staff, Branch Leaders, Assistant Branch Leaders, Retail Crew to agreed procedures and standards.
o To ensure effective management of all retail staff to ensure adequate staffing levels throughout the business and development needs of the staff are met.
o To provide staff training (internal, external, on the job, etc) and other mandatory training as required for professional development.
o To give support to staff so they have the opportunity to develop their skills in the role and to achieve growth in sales.
o To ensure all performance issues and other than issues in the retail outlets, are addressed in an appropriate and timely manner.
o Maintaining high personal standards and projecting a warm, appreciative and welcoming attitude towards customers.
o Lead and communicate effectively with the retail teams, responsible for team building, coaching, training and staff development.
o To promote a customer care approach within the retail business, investigating complaints or issues of poor customer care in timely and efficient manner.
o To ensure Performance Appraisal is undertaken and completed on a timely manner.

PERFORMANCE
o Monitor retail operations in terms of housekeeping, merchandising/goods and stock ordering.
o To grow sales profit and to motivate staff to achieve this same goal.
o To develop and grow a customer focus operations including new retail outlets, to promote The Better Card (TBC), Online Apps Treleaf Mart and others available digital platform in the company.
o To develop, implement, review and monitoring the retail operating plan and budget.
o To maintain, seek, utilize and analyze management information system including Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) data to manage performance, seize opportunities and make informed management decisions, taking appropriate remedial action as required to reach and maintain retail budgeted sales and net income contributions and develop and drive the business.
o To ensure all retails outlets are efficiently managed, visiting them regularly and monitoring their compliance with policy, procedure and standards.
o To liaise with the Distribution Centre and Warehouse from time to time to ensure goods/merchandise are dispatched and delivered on a timely manner.
o To ensure display of goods/merchandise, pricing, etc., are maintained and observed at all times.
o To monitor stocks in each outlets ensuring there is adequate supplies and to maintain/respond to stock concerns where relevant.
o Able to conduct retail outlet activities, events and operational.


PROPERTY
o In charge of setting up, renovating and closing up of retail outlets.
o Working with Contractors to carry out new retail site and to ensure retail refits are carried out in accordance with relevant time schedule and at the same time ensuring retail outlet standards are maintain on an ongoing basis.
o Comply to all safety standards and planned preventive maintenance.

PROCEDURES
o Conduct operational audit, identify areas of opportunity, develop and communicate the action plan.
o To collate information and other statistical reports on retail outlets, or action planning required, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all aspects of administration, following up issues of discrepancies as required.
o To take responsibility to ensure the awareness and understanding of the retail Health & Safety procedures.
o To ensure the safety and security of people, stock, cash and property, implementing effective administration, EPOS, procedures and security systems throughout the retail outlets.
o To ensure policies, procedures and guidelines are complied.
o To attend Management and Board meetings as required.
o Cooperating fully in the introduction of any new technology and new methods as appropriate.
o Liaise and coordinate among various supporting functions including Human Resource, Logistics, Warehouse and IT.
