Job ResponsibilityJob summary:
o Responsible for the smooth running of the Restaurant & Bar (Food & Beverage department) in line with company standards of Procedures, predetermined budgets and all relevant legislation.
o Training & Development of the Team using relevant techniques and ensuring all training is documented.
o Employee Relations & Performance Management of the Team
o To be aware of the day's business in the Hotel.
o Supervise the activities of the team to ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are performing all duties to a consistently high standard.
o To manage all stock level's within the Department in line with Departmental Budgets
o To work with the Head Chef and Senior Managers on menu planning through monitoring of food sales and introducing new menu ideas.
o To communicate our services and facilities to guests as required.
o To be aware and ensure compliance with all company policy's regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, and Customer Care & Security.
o Abides by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests and hours of operations. Ensure that proper Liquor Requisition procedures and liquor pouring procedures are followed.
o Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
o Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
o Any other job duties and responsibilities may assign by the Management that may be required from time to time.
