Job Description
Job Responsibility
Initiate, brainstorm, research the ingredients and formulate new products or revise existing products
Collaborate with Brand & Marketing Team in conceptualizing product innovations through regular market & customer research
Conduct sensory evaluation and efficacy of developed products
Improve product formulation and processes to optimize sales, productivity, and cost
Manage product classification, labelling, registration, testing, and certification processes
Ensure the latest regulations, standards, policies & procedures are incorporated into product SOP and work with the production team to enforce the requirements
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to rectify product-related issues
Coordinate with other departments to execute product development plans
Provide product analysis reports to management in a timely manner
Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management
Job Requirements
Must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology or other related disciplines
Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in the related field
Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
A valuable team player and able to work independently
Knowledgeable of food technology, food microbiology, and nutritional ingredients formulation
Understand compliance for food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and HALAL requirement is an added advantage
Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malaysia
Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Possess own transport and willing to travel
