Job ResponsibilityDeveloping cost plans and estimates through
the design phase, delivering updated cost
plans at appropriate design milestones.
Providing commercial input.
Reviewing contractor and subcontractor
pricing and leading negotiations on behalf of
the Company to drive fair contract prices.
Performing quantity surveying, cost controls
and change management activities
throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and
change control processes are managed
effectively.
Compiling as built cost estimate records for
benchmarking purposes.
Experience in preparing cost estimates by
defining the optimal quantity and price of
the materials being used in construction.
Experience as a Project Coordinator and
can work with other stakeholders such as
engineers and contractors to derive
efficiencies in other areas of expense such
as labour costs, construction costs, and
construction methods.
Experience in managing the project
finances by working closely with all parties
to procure optimum value products with
the best quality.
Able to understand company's ISO
procedure.
Able to understand company's HSE plan.
