Job Responsibilityo Able to prepare taking-off quantity and tender costing
o To provide support for project negotiation
o Finalize the Bill of Quantities (BQ) 4 to 5 days before closing
o To handle price sourcing and negotiate all require equipment and material required in a tender or on-going project
o To support project team pertaining to the project material, specification, and requirement
o Submit the whole tender to Board one (1) day before submission
o Familiar with drawings and able to interpret into Board of Meeting (BOM)
o Collaborate and work with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary
o Maintain the accuracy of work done at project sites
o Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
o Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies
o Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required
o Q.S to visit site twice (14th & 30th) a month
o Variation Claim (VC) must be submitted within 14 days upon receiving instructions
o Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets
o Traveling from the office to various sites as required
o Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage
o Minimum 3 years of experience
