Job Description

Job Responsibility
  • Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of item between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
  • Negotiable for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers.
  • Responsible for creating sales order, lead-tracking, sourcing, purchasing and ensuring all shipments are delivered per schedule.
  • Maintain good relations with our valued partners.
  • Process incoming and outgoing logistic activities in System and maintain the database (PO).
  • Resolve logistic problems and assist to collaborate with retail and suppliers to ensure fulfillment and on time delivery.
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records data & pricing in the system.
  • Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
  • Coordinate and control the order cycle, and maintaining proper storage and movement of goods between the factory and various sites.

Job Requirements
  • Manufacturing background is a MUST. At least 2-3 years' experience in the purchasing field.
  • Required language(s) : Mandarin, English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a MUST as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking supplier.
  • Knowledge of import/export restriction and required shipping documentation.
  • Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external vendors.
  • Computer literate / Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically excel.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to multitask and handle work pressure.
  • Teamwork, able to work with colleagues from different levels & departments.
  • Proactive, strongly analytical, and problem-solving abilities and able to work well in a fast pace environment.
