Job Responsibility

• General purchasing request and order
• Deal with suppliers and evaluate supplier performance
• Ensure good quality, reasonable price, right quantity, on time delivery and acceptable term of credit from suppliers.
• Dealing with production and QA for supplier's quantity problem, store for supplier's quantity, delivery and service problem.
• Accounting department for supplier credit term problem.
• Goods distribution and updating stock
• Sourcing of new suppliers and follow up on evaluation result such as quality, cost, delivery and financial status of new company.
• Feedback purchasing information to factory manager from time to time.
• Liaise with suppliers for corrective action request related to supplier delivery problems
• Responsible to ensure goods are purchased according to the department specifications.
• Responsible for overall quantity system in purchasing, receiving material and storage of received material.
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing goods
• Responsible to submit invoices to account department in order to clear the payment.
• Liaise with account department for supplier credit term given.
• Authority: deregister suppliers, dealing with suppliers and receiving incoming materials

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, Well versed in PRONTO software will be a bonus.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. 
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Perai.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
