Job Description


Job Responsibility
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Plan, manage, coordinate the promotion and publicity of the Company in the mass
media, electronic media, social media, online media and other relevant platforms.
2. Establishing and maintaining relationships with distributor, consumer, community,
employee, and public interest groups.
3. Analyzes the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build
public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas,
and services.
4. Handle, manage, monitor and make complete reports about ambassadors,
influencers and icons of the Company, and ensure that all their tasks are carried out
accurately and effectively.
5. Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social
media posts etc.)
6. Ability to run PR campaigns using a variety of different channels, which deliver
measurable results and meet objectives.
7. Set KPIs and measure the success of public relations activities also campaigns, and
produce reports for each campaign.
8. Collaborate with the marketing team and ensure activities are consistent and in line
with the brand.
9. Updating and maintaining Web content.
10. Coaching client representatives in effective communication with the public and
employees.
11. Track media coverage and follow industry trends.
12. Prepare and submit PR related reports.
13. Updates and maintains organization's digital content.
14. Collaborates with Key Leaders to identify trends, evaluate advertising to determine
whether it is in sync with the organization's public relation efforts, and providing
advice on business decisions.
15. Prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail
leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
16. Coordinating and supervising the Company's programs effectively and ensuring that
all program planning and implementation, including planned activities, are carried out
in accordance with established procedures.
17. Research and gather opportunities for sponsorship and collaboration.
18. Manage and prevent reputational risk to all brands within the Company.
19. Raise and strengthen the image of the organization and manage feedback on issues
involving the Company's image.
20. Act as coordinator of public or customer complaints and establish an effective
feedback system.
21. Responsible for protocol in event management as well as responsible for managing
press conferences, press release drafts, briefing notes and information, publication
management, exhibitions and annual reports.
22. Perform editorial duties that include drafting and editing written communications
(including press releases, speeches, memos, official letters and reports) as well as
other publicity-related materials.
23. Prepare and draft policies related to the Company's information dissemination
activities through face-to-face communication, print and electronic media.
24. Other work assigned by the Management from time to time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT TO POSITION HOLDER:
Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related
field
Experience : At least two years of experience.

Skills
o Fluent in speaking and writing in Malay and English.
o Ability to speak other languages is an advantage.
o Skilled in using information technology (IT) and computers.
o Ability to deal with the public including journalists and mass media.
o Sensitive to current issues and able to analyze and deal with all issues.
o Able to create a communication networking.
o Skilled in writing reports and news.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Ability in presentation and public speaking.
o Attention to detail.
o Able to think critically and analytical problem solving.
o Ability to work on large strategic plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
o Ability to think creatively and strategically.
o Adheres to set deadlines, has a high sense of curiosity, with good
follow-up and reporting skills.
o Creativity in getting coverage and buzz with traditional methods.
o Understanding and ability about social media and solid experience
working with ambassadors, influencers, icons, etc.
o Project Management and budgeting skills.
o Responds well even when under pressure with tight time limits.
o Quick in learning about something and has a high spirit.
