Job Responsibility1) Develop a schedule for the project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
2) Review the project schedule with senior management and relevant staff that will be affected by the project activities, and revise the schedule as requires.
3) Involve in planning, designing, executing, and commissioning of new manufacturing line, cost saving project, and process improvement project.
4) Provide technical support and solution in improving existing manufacturing line.
5) Work closely with Maintenance, Production, QAQC and Warehouse Departments to ensure effective maintenance is performed to maximize machine performance.
6) Establish a communication schedule to update relevant staff in the organisation on the progress of the project.
7) Develop safety operating procedure / maintenance instruction for machineries and conduct training to maintain a safe working environment.
8) Prepare documentations with authorities such as DOSH and follow the entire process for DOSH applications and other relevant authorities.
9) Effectively arranges to solve any maintenance issues.
10) To ensure all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions etc.
11) Ensure site safety and health regulation are complied.
12) Executing quality assurance system including regular inspections, testing and commissioning to ensure all the materials and workmanship are compliance with the drawings and specifications.
13) Handle all the future improvement/expansion projects pertaining to maintenance system.
14) Maintain good record, progress report and present to Management and Superior as and when required.
15) Assist in liaison with contractors, subcontractors, and coordination with other parties.
16) Perform inspections at new facilities to ensure equipment is working properly and in accordance with specifications and provides guidance to contractors on their work.
17) Carry out condition & risk assessment on maintenance assets to identify the preventive actions to avoid potential assets breakdown.
18) Identify best known methods to continuously improve present maintenance practices towards asset reliability.
19) Prepare tender documentations for new production lines and extend utilities systems.
20) Any other duties as instructed by immediate superior or Management from time to time.
