Job ResponsibilityProject Scope:
- To project management and coordination services
- To project subject matter in firewall security implementation
- To project change impact assessment and implementation approach
- To enhance Tier-1 and Tier-2 firewall security policies based on Sanlam security baseline and penetration assessments
- To resolve weaknesses in existing firewall policies by fine-tuning the firewall rules
- To provide the implementation of firewall policy enhancements and fine-tuning including rules efficiency
- To provide post-implementation support services
- To provide project documentation and knowledge transfer
- To provide support services for tasks assigned by The Client
- Feasibility study and recommendation of best practice & a tool to manage and document changes in firewall
- Include 1 full-time on-site engineer at The Client's office for project implementation, support and documentation
- Follow The Client's working hours or as and when requested by The Client to avoid disruptions to business operations
Project Milestone:
Phase 1 - Implementation:
- To complete by June 2023.
- Project kick-off and briefing.
- Feasibility study and recommendation of best practices and tools to manage and document firewall rules changes.
- To complete Tier-1 and Tier-2 firewall policy and rules enhancements, testing, monitoring and fine-tuning.
Phase 2 - Stabilization and Handover:
- To complete by Dec 2023.
- Post-implementation technical support services.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in IT/ Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in managing and implementing IT security projects.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
