Job ResponsibilityJob Responsibilities:
o To identify process limitation and abnormalities during plant operation and propose methods to resolve the problems.
o To execute and implement plant optimization (PIC) and energy (utilities) improvement programs in order to increase efficiencies and within the specified design guidelines.
o To establish unit operating guidelines base on design condition and actual plant capability. To provide technical know-how on Process Operating Procedure.
o To assist Supt./ Manager in planning (start-up/shutdown/ transition/etc) base on limitations and conditions of the existing system.
o To initiate studies that involve improvement/modification to the current plant conditions and proposes most probable solution.
o To analyze daily & monthly production report and ensure that production figures and material to date represent the actual plant performance.
o To gather and establish data for specific product run parameters.
o To assist the Supt. in setting up long-term plant equipment performance monitoring & to carry out test run/trial run of equipment/systems.
o To review & update plant interlock system.
o To execute and implement plant cost down / cost saving programs in order to achieve higher yield & lower operating cost.
o To lead and establish quality and process control plan based on plant operating constraints.
Job Responsibilities:
o Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.
o Knowledge of accepted chemical plant practices, unit operation and process control
o Knowledge of computer application & Aspen tech.
o Preferably those with leadership or supervisory skill, problem solving and decision making, high safety consciousness and experience in plant operation.
