Job Responsibility?Manage procurement function of the group for both regular and ad hoc projects
?Compile quotations from vendors including product specifications, prepare request for quotation/tender where required and make recommendations for procurement as necessary
?Identify and liaise with vendors to obtain optimal pricing, quality and timing of goods/ services required
?Prepare and monitor vendors in terms of price, quality, quantity, delivery time, suitability, logistics, etc, and prepare internal reports on their delivery performance
?Follow up with internal stakeholders on vendor performance and suitability/effectiveness/timeliness of items purchased
?Follow up on procurement status and communicate this effectively to relevant stakeholders
?Drive improvements in procurement process and procedures such as effective tendering (as applicable), purchase-to-pay, spending visibility, vendor performance management and improving overall procurement function
