Job ResponsibilityPrinter Resident Engineer @ Klang Valley
Responsibilities:
To provide support at customer's location in resolving issue pertaining to consumables,
preventive maintenance kit and performing troubleshooting of device issue.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose printer
- Perform part replacement if confirmed hardware issue
- Escalate case to manufacturer if issue cannot be resolved
- Perform regular maintenance (weekly, monthly, etc.) to reduce reactive support.
- Perform user training to make sure end-user familiarize with device(s).
- Move/relocate devices at/from customer's location to designated location provided by customer.
- Install and configure the device at customer sites based on the mutually agreed upon delivery schedule.
- Communicate to the customer the necessary specifications for the updates (firmware, driver, etc.), and validate such requirements are in place prior to commencement of activities.
- Service is required for collection of page counts for Silent Device.
- Managed service using metrics driven approach to identify opportunities to improve functionality, performance and/or decrease costs and maintenance.
- Monitor email/call/support center activity to ensure prompt service requirement is met
- Inventory control of printer supplies and continuous monitoring of the printer through management tools
- Document and administer excel spreadsheets for ticket tracking and part consumption.
- Consistent with meeting service level agreement and deliver customer's satisfaction.
Qualifications:
-Must be willing to travel for overseas/outstation assignment on a short notice
-Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
-Independence, initiative & able to work as a team
-Positive work attitude
-Min 1-3 year's technical experience or field service in repair of Printers (A3 / A4 / PageWide / Large Format / Graphic Solutions) - mainly HP and Samsung
-Salary negotiable based on working experience

-Male candidates preferred
-PC literate/Familiar with basic network knowledge an advantage
- Knowledge in networking/installation is an advantage
