Job ResponsibilityDuties and responsibilities
1. To produce detailed works program with cost & resources loading, manpower schedule,
plant/machineries/equipment (PME) schedule, progress S-Curves & other associated documents.
2. To produce & monitor procurement schedule, material delivery schedule, submission & approval schedule, etc.
3. To produce rolling programs such as two-week look-ahead programs, three-month look-ahead programs, program narratives, etc.
4. To monitor progress of project, maintain and update works program & prepare project progress reports/presentations.
5. To organize and attend progress tracking meeting with operation/construction team & subcontractors/suppliers.
6. To attend meetings with operation/construction team & sub-contractors/suppliers on planning, programming and scheduling matters.
7. To perform any other tasks assigned by Planning Manager/Senior Planning Engineer.
8. To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
9. To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
10. To take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
11. To perform any other tasks assigned by Senior Manager (Planning) /Senior Planning Engineer.

1. Accountable for the quality, environmental, safety and health performance at his department.
Requirements
1. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3-5 year experience in construction sectors (Building, Road, Airport, Infrastructures or others).
3. Experience in project planning, scheduling & control.
4. Possess knowledge in construction methodology, construction sequence & production rate.
5. Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken & written)
6. Required skills (hands-on): M.S. Word, M.S. Excel, M.S. Powerpoint, M.S. Project (Intermediate Level), Primavera P6 (Intermediate Level), AutoCAD.
7. Must be able to work independently and work beyond normal working hours.
8. Team player, pro-active and good interpersonal skills.
9. Experience in engineering design is an added advantage.
10. Willing to travel
