Job Responsibility1. Operating and managing kitchen section and liaising with the executive chef to ensure a successful working environment.
2. Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
3. Developing new recipes for seasonal menus.
4. Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure high quality of presentation.
5. Regularly monitor the stock to ensure sufficient of baking ingredients.
6. Regularly monitor and arrange the maintenance of baking and other kitchen equipment.
7. Ensuring kitchen section adheres to safety and health regulations
REQUIREMENTS
1. Possess Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Pastry or any related field.
2. Preferable candidate with experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
4. Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
5. Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
6. In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
