Job ResponsibilityPASTRY CHEF (Minimum 3 years relevant experience is required)
- To develop new menu based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- To assist with the preparation and planning of menu designs, supervise and ensure that products follow standard recipe and methods of preparation.
- To resolve any issue related to quality and consistency of products.
- To take appropriate action to reduce wastage & operating cost without affecting quality of products.
- To monitor and record inventory daily, maintain the par stock level.
- To provide training to junior team with various tasks including baking assembly and decoration.
- To oversee the cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance of the department and undertake the necessary steps to maintain the highest possible standard in the production area.
DEMI CHEF/ CHEF DE PARTIE (Minimum 2 years relevant experience is required)
- To prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread and other pastry products.
- To oversee the assigned kitchen section, managing and training any Commis working with you.
- To assist the Pastry Chef to develop new products or menus.
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.

- To prepare, cook and present dishes efficiently; meeting the company guidelines and standards.
- Knowledge of basic standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
- Ensures the correct rotation by FIFO, maintain stock level of all food products and to ensure spoilage or wastage at acceptable level.
- Adhering to Halal Certification Standard on food safety, hygiene quality and sanitation.
- Performing all kind of cleaning duties and ensuring that kitchen and workstations are clean and properly sanitized at all times.
- To regularly assess and monitor to ensure that all equipment remains clean and in good working order.
