Job ResponsibilityVessel Chartering:
o Responsible for all stages of tendering, bid preparation/submission, setting up and negotiating deals, including presenting the opportunities to potential clients, negotiating the main terms of a contract or sale and seeing it through to its conclusion and any follow up that may be involved.
o Developing and maintain a framework and processes to manage chartering business for the group.
o Oversee negotiations relating to ship chartering. Work closely with vessel owners/brokers and attend to their queries, attempt bridging any contractual gaps and looking for cooperation with vessel owners directly.
o Provide timely and accurate market information, voyage calculations to the chartering team to facilitate smooth chartering activities.
o Develop strong network intelligence within the industry.
o Populate and maintain a database of regional offshore vessel positions.
o Monitoring the direction of the market.
o Expanding and developing contacts.
Business Development:
o Develops a sales plan to deliver revenue retention, revenue growth and new business for Company's in-house fleet and 3rd party vessels, to meet or exceed sales targets.
o Develops a personal network within the OSV business sector and represents the Company with customers and at business sector events, trade-shows etc. Obtains market intelligence and enhances the visibility and reputation of the Organization, its vessels, services and ability to provide holistic solutions.
