Job Responsibility-To assist Staff Nurses in the smooth running of the dialysis unit.
-Priming of dialysers and lines according to the schedule.
-Assist with recording of patients' information as per clinical chart.
-Assist with observation taking such as vital sign of patients like blood pressure, pulse rate and etc.
-Assist with discontinuing of patients after completion of dialysis eg. to clean the machines, chair and patients trolleys, wash kidneys dish and cleaning tower.
-Flushing the used dialysers, disinfect with reprocessor machines and then keep in their respective boxes.
-Check and issue the stock issuing form according to the daily operation needs like A+B solution and disposable items.
-Packing dressing drapes for sterilization.
-Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
-To do housekeeping when necessary.
-Ensure decalcification and chemical disinfections for all dialysis machines are carried out daily and records are kept if required.
