Job ResponsibilityJob Description;
o Gathers business requirements, analyzes, creates design documents, performs impact analysis and recommend industry best practices and work with functional knowledge holders.
o Develops Oracle PL/SQL procedures, OAF Forms and Reports to extend Oracle applications functionality based on user requirements.
o Knowledge and familiarity of underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture. Understanding of functional concepts & flow of Oracle Application Modules.
o Builds reports, conversions, interfaces and extensions for Oracle Applications.
o Configures applications to suit needs includes system setups, flex-fields, Forms Personalization, custom library, profile options etc.
o Proven experience in 2 or more ERP modules including those in the Quote to Cash, Demand to Build (Process Manufacturing), Procure to Pay, or Warehouse Management.
o Assists users with problems and resolves issues independently.
o Creates test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs testing.
o Provide technical leadership for architecture design, code reviews, establishing standards for development.
o Improve development processes, identify & leverage tools for development.
o Coordinate work efforts with the DBA and middleware teams for application change controls and system performance issues.
o Ability to work effectively in a multi cultural environment and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority.
o Provide leadership in communicating with user and business.
o Ongoing support of Oracle Applications R12 modules.
o Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
o Review requests assign tasks and track progress and reports progress to manager.
Requirements;
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
o 8+ years IT experience.
o 5+ years progressively responsible ERP application implementation and support experience.
o Proven experience in 2 or more ERP modules including those in the Quote to Cash, Demand to Build, Procure to Pay, Accounting to Financial Reports or Warehouse Management.
o Proven development expertise and experience in the Oracle Database system including skills in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL Loader.
o Must be well versed with data models and interfaces for applicable ERP modules.
o Knowledge and familiarity with the 2 or more of the following tools: Oracle Forms (or other equivalent), Oracle Reports/Oracle BI Publisher (or other equivalent), Oracle Application Framework, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Java, J2EE, Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle JET.
o Should have excellent attitude/skills with the business users. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated progressive experience and successful projects.
o Understanding of functional concepts & flow of Oracle Application Modules.
o Oracle certifications is a plus.
o Experience in working with version control and software configuration management tools including Subversion, CVS, HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM).
