Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities and Authority:
1) Responsible for all direct material planning and ensure the appropriate supply of materials required to maintain smooth and steady flow production and product deliveries.
Material Planning
2) Develop, implement, and manage cross-functional, fully integrated materials planning process that incorporates make versus buy, warehouse capacity planning, scheduling, inventory and associated cost elements via material replenishment planning (manual MRP). The plan is based on production planning.
3) Ensures materials planning and ordering cycles adhered to ensure continuous supply of materials to support production operations without interruptions based on agreed lead time and minimum order quantity with suppliers.
4) Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control to ensure warehouse space is optimized and cost managed under control as per allocated budget.
5) Provide input to maintain strong inventory management practices at the factory warehouse.
6) Analyze and determine the Safety Stock Levels, assigning appropriate replenishment strategies with calculated safety stock levels and other key planning parameters based on company inventory policy.
7) Alters materials schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
8) Coordinate and expedite/ de-expedite the flow of materials according to production schedule (Just in Time -JIT)
9) Estimates need to reorder supplies due to rejections and quality issues manufacturing cycle.
10) To perform delivery arrangements
11) Document controller to prepare, check and compile all RMPM importations documents for GRN, and to upload into LN system
12) To prepare monthly report for LMW RMPM and Packaging Material Report.
13) Liaise with QA, Procurement, vendor, and warehouse on material quality issues.
14) Manages the process of local supplying including raw materials, additives, packaging, and other operating materials required for production and sales.
12. Liaise with Finance on 306, DN, CN, SST, and Import Duty matters.
13. Coordinates the resolution of discrepancy in inventory reports, discrepant items.
Logistic
14. To issue all RMPM PO and to notify supplier.
15. Work closely with the team to manage inventory and upcoming logistics capacity planning to ensure warehousing operation is managed without any hiccups.
16. Handle the forwarding agent and liaise with them on day-to-day import shipment deliveries arrangement including shipping documents checking and confirmation and custom clearance requirements.
