The MARS Optimisation Lead role is to drive continuous improvement projects by identifying and realizing Job Requirements
Job Benifits benefits agreed between the customer and Maersk. The role is structuring and following up with business outcomes being run through the organization to ensure buy-in and resources to deliver from both the customer and Maersk where appropriate, and to capture actual results delivered. The role is collaborating with the customer, the Center of Excellence (COE), Key Client Manager and Lead Program Manager to drive continuous optimization of core processes and identifying specific structural changes to core processes and network set-up.
This role will be based in either Thailand / Malaysia / Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
Work with MARS to map out the cost structure and drivers, creating a baseline of total supply chain costs (including internal headcount costs) as per exhibit E Gainshare document
Ensure identified improvements realize the expected savings
Establish benefit realisation management setup
Responsible for identifying, initiating and supporting new improvement opportunities and provide the right level of coaching, support and training
Understand the MARS business requirements and lead team members as well as colleagues from all COEs in Maersk to ensure our service is consistently delivered and optimized
Work closely with Lead Program Manager, Key Client Manager and COE for MARS to ensure there is a standardised Maersk solution
Ensure a positive customer experience and build long term relationships with MARS' PMO, operational management teams and stakeholders
Develop creative solutions to both internal and external operational challenges
Support the global team and MARS through core change management activities
We are looking for
Customer first mindset: You are good at forming relationships and able to understand the customer's requirement and turn these into solutions
You understand the value the customer brings to Maersk and are able to find and implement solutions that are mutually beneficial to the customer and Maersk
5 years of experience as project manager. Preferable also know benefit/value realisation methodology and techniques
Stakeholder management and negotiation skills: You are able to manage both internal and external stakeholder and be persuasive towards achieving the objectives set for the account
You are comfortable handling customer complaints and defusing conflicts early
The ability to influence without authority
Persistency: You are structured and able to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines. You work insistently to ensure the right outcome for the customer and the company is put in place
International experience, comfortable working and managing in a matrix organization
Proactive driver of improvement opportunities
Highly structured and analytical individual
Proven track-record of successful continuous improvement projects, project management and managing people
Excellent interpersonal skills particularly at senior level
A dynamic, self-starting and action-oriented person with the ability to think strategically and to put strategy into practice
