Job ResponsibilityThe Role
To support in raising the visibility of the School of Management by carrying out an effective marketing and communications plan in order to attract new students across the School's portfolio of programmes, publicize the strengths of the academic faculty and promote the profile of the School as a whole to external audiences.
Responsibilities:
a) Leads and manages marketing department staff by providing tasks, objectives, strategies, and projects
b) Manages the marketing department budget and uses financial strategy to advise all marketing plans
c) Oversees the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
d) Regularly interacts with marketing managers to receive information and updates about marketing staff progress and results
e) Evaluates marketing reports and sales data compiled by marketing staff members
f) Presents regular updates and information to other department heads and executives
g) Works with executives to incorporate marketing needs into overall company planning and strategy
h) Monitors competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
i) Organises and attends company-wide and marketing events
j) Assists in securing access to major media channels and important sponsorships
k) Travels to meet clients and attend conferences, trade shows, industry events, and seminars
l) Adheres to and implements company policies and procedures
