Job ResponsibilityJOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,
Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
? At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in the related field and ability to guide and review
the codes of the junior developer for Senior position.
1. Carry out task in accordance with the QC framework which includes establishing and tracking quality assurance
metrics, establish test automation, design test cases and efficiently increasing test coverage.
2. Responsible of timely completion of quality test within project timeline and free from defects and meeting
company's standards and procedures.
3. Meets the business and technical requirements that guided its design and development.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Identify deviance from standards and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.
2. Ensure test procedures are well documented to ensure reusability and compliance with standards.
3. Ensure software defects are documented using tracking system, and defects are to software development team.
4. Responsibility for driving forward the company test strategy.
5. Perform Static Testing: Validate accuracy and completeness of requirements by using requirement document.
6. Define and prepare the following documents:
a. Requirement review checklist
b. Requirement Traceability Matrix
c. Test Scenario and Test Case
7. Build and Update Application Regression Test Suite with respect to the current requirements.
8. Prioritize the Test Cases based on the requirement priority.
9. Build Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data.
10. Build, Update and execute all the testing type documented in the test plan such as smoke test, functional test,
non-functional test, performance test, security test etc.
11. Ensure handshake from UT to ST: this activity includes sharing of Unit Test Cases, Test Results, Issue Logs
and Defect Logs with the Testing Team.
12. Ensure regular Defect Triage meetings and Defect Reporting: These meetings are to discuss the critical and high
impacting defects so as to prioritize and fix them.
13. Perform Regression Testing: Execute the Regression Test Suite. This is to be done at the end of each type of
testing. It could be Full Regression Testing or Partial Regression testing based upon the change in functionality.
14. Consolidate & Analyze Metrics for all Test Phases.
15. Perform Causal analysis of all defects raised during various types of testing, especially the escaped defects.
16. Perform Test Phase Quality Review along with all impacted stakeholders.
17. Any other duties as and when deemed necessary.
