Job ResponsibilityTo work on the job-scopes of Technician is to assist Engineers and Technical Analyst in:
- Performing any routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) in the field locally as well as throughout Malaysia (training will be provided).
- Assist in conduct field start-ups of CEMS.
- Assist inequipment repairs/testing of CEMS equipment.
- Installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of CEMS equipment.
- Familiarize with client's plant operations.
- Identifying and troubleshooting complex analytical equipment problems and developing technically sound solutions.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and maintenance practices using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understand and promote safety policies and possess a strong commitment to personal safety.
- Must be motivated and self-directed.
- Must have good communication skills, customer oriented, able to work as part of a team.
- Familiar with basic Microsoft Office applications such as EXCEL & WORD.
- Remain current on all trade practices, industry policies and regulations.
- Tasks include -
- (a) advising on and designing power stations and systems which generate, transmit and distribute electrical power;
- (b) supervising, controlling and monitoring the operation of electrical generation, transmission and distribution systems;
- (c) advising on and designing systems for electrical motors, electrical traction and other equipment, or electrical domestic appliances;
- (d) specifying electrical installation and application in industrial and other buildings and objects;
- (e) establishing control standards and procedures to monitor performance and safety of electrical generating and distribution systems, motors and equipment;
- (f) determining manufacturing methods for electrical systems, as well as maintenance and repair of existing electrical systems, motors and equipment.
