Ensure all the electrical equipment and instrumentation are in safe and good working condition in order to achieve highest standard performance with regards to standard procedure of operation of the Company and local authority;
To follow and ensure all subordinate to obey all the safety rules of personal safety apparels, operation, machines and equipment;
Completion of work orders for planned and unplanned daily maintenance tasks;
Responsible on housekeeping for maintain the cleanliness and tidiness at workplace and workshop;
Ensure and maintain hand tools and special tools in good working condition;
Troubleshooting (motor, starter motor, ACB system). Maintain high efficiency and cleanliness of machines. Perform service maintenance & repair on equipment, machines and accessories;
To monitor in-coming electrical supply and operate the electrical standby generator systems;
Day to day operations of the entire facility, electrical installation and monitoring on low voltage facility equipment performance. This will also include overseeing production equipment, maintenance and contractor work arrangement;
Perform repair and maintenance work, preventive maintenance task on all switch boards, circuit breakers, transformer and Low Voltage;
Ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical system and installation are complied with the statutory standard of local authorities;
To have periodical inspection on all electrical services in Mine, Plant and Jetty site and provide technical reports on its performance;
Comply with, execute and promote the ore processing health, safety and environment improvement action plan and all Terengganu Silica Consortium Standards Operating Procedures;
Liaise with the Process Plant/Mining/Jetty Operations group and Planning Department;
Communicate effectively with cross shift;
Standby on call after working hours, whenever management requires the service.
Accomplished and verified the daily electrical checklist and carried task as per instructed by Electrical Engineer/General Manager;
If encountered abnormalities of electrical system immediately should highlights to immediate Electrical Engineer;
To adopt Ramco ERP system in daily activity for PM/Purchasing/Inventory/Admin;
