Job Description


Job Responsibility
Main Duties and Responsibilities

A) Cutting Instruction - Location 1

1. To update completed cutting orders, sign on the CI and submit to Inventory Department.

2. Retrieve sales orders from the file and prepare Picking List.


B) Cutting Progress Report (CPR)

1. To check cutting progress report at a pre-fixed interval time.

2. For complete or partial complete cutting orders, retrieve the sales orders from the file, prepare picking list and DO, and submit to person in charge to arrange transport.


C) Own Collection Customers

1. Receive PO or other relevant documents from the customers/drivers.

2. Retrieve sales order from file, prepare DO and picking list ? pass to customers together with a number tag.

3. For sales orders that cannot be found in file or computer system, check with sales person or direct contact with customer for details.


D) Incomplete Stamped and Signed Documents

1. Receive incomplete stamped and signed delivery order (DO) from internal lorry drivers or customers.

2. Fax to customers to request for stamp and / or signature. Follow up fax copy by telephone call.

3. Prepare listing for all completed stamped and signed DO, submit to Accounts department on daily basis.

4. All DO (either completed or incomplete with sign and stamp) must submit to accounts department latest on 5th day of each calendar month.

E) Weighing Machine

1. To operate and handle lorry weighing scale and to print out weighing slip and do filing.

Note:

1. Any cancellation of DO together with Picking List must be submitted to Director for signature purpose with reason written on the DO within two (2) working days. After signed by Director, the full cancellation copies of DO and Picking List shall be submitted to the Accounts Department immediately.

2. Outstanding undelivered DO (which has been printed out early) has to be cancelled and submitted to Director for signature.


Other Responsibilities

1. To assist colleagues for her / his daily work from time to time including during his / her absence of work.

2. To communicate effectively include using written memo / notes to convey messages / information especially during your absence from work (on annual leave and etc.)

3. Under unforeseen circumstances such as emergency and / or medical leave, a contact that can reach you must be given to the office. This is to ensure you can be contacted in the even of any work problems arise (within your main duties and responsibilities) during your absence.

4. To coach or impart the appropriate / correct skills and knowledge to colleagues/juniors in order for them to carry out their work effectively.
