o Accounts Payable & Cost Budget management.
o Spear heading IFRS & Local GAAP Audits & Due diligence audits.
o Liaising with Banks, Timely reporting to financial institutions & ensuring adherence to covenants.
o Process streamlining & optimizing.
o Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payable and Employee Related expenses.
o UST Global is in the process of integrating its internal finance systems and process across all regions/ operational BU's.
o Automating the Procure to Pay is of primary focus.
o Lead automation project of finance systems in Malaysia. This specifically requires knowledge of UST's global systems and interaction and conducting training programs with internal stakeholders which is the key for adoption.
o With the years of interactions and rapport, he has a proven track record to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
o He is a Graduate in commerce, he also holds an executive MBA Degree.
Proposed Job Role Description
o Lead the Accounts payable function of UST Global, - Co-ordinate with US & offshore Geographies effectively.
o Lead the finance automation, conduct training programs and enable process and systems adoption in Malaysia
o Support effectively the central Treasury team on Malaysia BU operations.
o Establish Process flow, and information flow for new entities.
o Be an integral part of decision support systems of Malaysia BU & and produce tangible results
o Coordinate and manage data requests for Malaysia BU and assemble support from regional functions.
o Vendor Management
o Familiarizing and training on Finance process and monitoring adherence in the region.
o Work with various Tax and Statutory authorities
o Employee Query Handling and resolution
o Liaising with Local GAAP and Tax Auditors
