Job Responsibility

Kitchen Crew:

• Prepare food and beverage menu in accordance with defined standards and recipes.
• Clean and prepare all basic food items including portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
• Handle, store, label, and rotate all products properly and in accordance with instructions and food handling regulations.
• Keeping your station area clean and tidy. Assist to close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
• Promptly report food quality or shortage problems to Assistant Kitchen Manager & Kitchen Manager.
• Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Assistant Kitchen Manager & Kitchen Manager.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the Senior Kitchen Assistant/ Assistant Kitchen Manager / Kitchen Manager.

Service Crew:

• Greeting customers as they arrive and showing them to their table.
• Giving out menus and taking orders for food and drink.
• Introducing customers to our brand and menu and recommend signature menu items of the restaurant.
• Serving food and drinks on time.
• Dealing with bill payments.
• Making sure tables are clean and ensure that hygiene standards are kept at all times.
• Ensure service areas are well stocked with supplies such as napkins and tableware.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure excellent service is provided to all customers.

• KyoChon, Sentral Jaya, Bukit Mertajam

Job Requirements

• Candidate must have at least PMR/SPM/O-Level certification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Training will be provided.
• Experience in F&B line will be added advantage.
• Self-motivated, responsible, adaptable, hardworking Team players.
• Required to work in teams to get their work completed in a standard of the code in preparing quality food.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the establishments are being met.
