Job ResponsibilityWe are looking for a dynamic team member to spearhead and deliver accounting services to our wide array of clients. These are mostly Korean companies with subsidiaries or branch offices in Malaysia. You will be based in the KL office and correspond with clients and team members on a daily basis, delivering excellent advice and service on accounting matters.
This position is in the Accounting Department, and your direct supervisor will be the Head of Accounting.
You are the right person for the job if you meet the below requirements:
Min 2 years relevant working experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Equivalent or pursuing professional qualifications.
Fluency in the English language (written and spoken) is compulsory.
Familiar with accounting softwares - UBS.
Able to travel as and when required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks actively.
Able to handle full set of accounts and assist in timely month end closings, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.
Assist in handling finance & accounting queries from various clients.
Perform data entry in accounting systems and ensure proper filing and completeness of documents for audit purposes.
Prepare other reconciliation for balance sheet items to maintain accuracy of the accounts.
Assist in handling tax computation, documentation, and other taxation matters.
Assist in timely and accurate monthly payroll processing, including monthly and yearly statutory requirements.
Liaise with statutory bodies, auditors, tax agents and clients for any related accounting & payroll matters.
Perform any other ad-hoc task as and when needed.
