Job ResponsibilityJOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Work with a team of engineers and programmers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements;
2. Communicate with end-user to determine their needs and requirements;
3. Work with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets product requirements;
4. Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience;
5. Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online assistance and developer guides;
6. Select an appropriate medium, such as manuals or videos for the message or audience
7. Collect user feedback to update and improve content;
8. Appropriate usage of photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations and charts to increase users' understanding;
9. Create tutorials to help end-user use a variety of applications;
10. Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for the greatest reader comprehension, writes and edits technical information accordingly;
11. Manage updates and revisions to technical literature;
12. Create and maintain the information architecture;
13. Research, analyse, develop and document technical design specifications and test script;
14. Standardize content across platforms and media;
15. Other tasks as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related discipline
2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field
3. Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation;
4. Strong knowledge in MS Office products;
5. Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development;
6. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop COMPULSORY
7. Good interpersonal, planning, multitasking and communication skills;
8. Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with paying attention to detail;
9. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures;
10. Excellent written skills in Bahasa Melayu and English;
11. Ability to work under pressure with a tight deadline;
12. Good teamwork and efficiency;
13. Good communication skills;
14. Have a positive attitude.
