Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities:
- Proactive monitoring of network service uptime to ensure optimal network performance for business and end users.
- Provide technical support through various channels of verbal and written communication, and ensure the reported case is resolve within stipulated service level agreement.
- Troubleshoot network related issues and carry out repairs.
- Conduct periodic scheduled updates and maintenance service.
- Partner with other IT and support teams to analyse and identify the possible root cause for the reported issue.
- Collaborate with vendors and telecommunication service providers to troubleshoot and restore network related outage.
- Inspect data and voice cable lines to ensure that they are intact and working optimally.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in IT or equivalent.
- Must be able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in network operations support.
- Must possess a basic understanding of computer network cabling.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, network hardware and telecommunication services.
- Proven experience as a network technician or relevant position.
- Good customer service skills.
- Willing to work on shift, weekend, public holidays and odd hours when required.
- Possess own transport and must be able to travel when required.
