Job Responsibilityo To prepare concept design of mechanical product that meets customer expectations and reliability requirements
o Work with engineers to generate the overall design concept for the mechanical product as well as the detailed design of the mechanical components
o Define tolerances and understand its effect on design
o Support prototype/pilot builds and assemblies
o Perform assembly of complex discrete wire harnesses and multi-conduction jacketed cables, coax, twin-ax and tri-ax cables, power and flat cables assemblies
o Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and equipment including but not limited to power screwdriver, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers and, automatic wire strippers
o Perform mechanical verification tests per product specifications and compile test reports
o Set up assembly BOM in the system, including processes, process resources and process time, etc.
o Continuously improve and optimise assemblies' process
o Ensure product/process requirements are met for component, assembly and specifications
o Compile information for user manuals
o Develop and maintain assembly process standards and documentation (SOP)
o To ensure 5s activity is carried out & maintained throughout assembly floor
o Support daily tasks as given by Management
