2. To calibrate the model between reference value of oil palm leave nutrients from in house test method and predicted values by NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
JOB DESCRIPTION
1) Data cleaning before start analyzing
2) To run the calibration model of oil palm leaf nutrients for N P K Ca Mg B and Ash
3) To run different calibration models based on different criteria (soil type, rainfall and palm age)
4) To check the of accuracy for each leaf nutrient classification of in house test method VS predicted values by NIR
5) Analyze data, formulate conclusions, provide summary analysis and interpretation to researchers
6) Learn to make appropriate decisions when encounter with unusual circumstances
7) Be participative in communicating with researchers to understand their requirements
8) Develop leading indicators from data analytics for the researchers to make effective decision
QUALIFICATION
1) Background in Statistics Applied Mathematics (hypothesis testing, experimental design, optimization and modelling)
2) Understand and master scripting languages such as R and Phyton
3) Understanding/knowledge for VBA Programming will be added advantage
4) Good understanding of specific data intelligence
5) This position will be based in Kota Damansara
