Job Description
Job Responsibility
Assist the SIA / AM in executing the audit plan, and take a lead role in the day to day execution of internal audits;
Contribute to the IA function by identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes;
Provide value-added advice and support to business partners on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, processes, products and services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control and compliance is maintained
Responsible for assisting the audit team to conduct risk based operational, financial and compliance audit
Evaluate the adequacy of process design and the effectiveness of controls in meeting business and control objectives. Identify and document control and process weaknesses and provide evidential support or findings
Propose practical and value added recommendations to address control weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies
Participate in closing meetings with clients at the end of fieldwork, providing clear explanations for identified issues
Assist in drafting the audit findings (ensure it correctly identifies root cause problem and accurately describe controls issues) including securing the agreement from business management for SIA / AM review
Assist SIA / AM and plans daily to accomplish the assigned task along with routine jobs to meet established deadlines
Perform follow up of audit findings as instructed by SIA / AM to ensure identified control issues are properly and timely remediated by business management, if needed
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field
Minimum 1 year experience in audits
Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
Well-develop technical skills in Power Point
Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision
Commitment to self-development and expansion of knowledge
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
