Qualification :

Typical experience 5+ years in IT with 2+ years of experience in establishing and delivering low to medium complex projects.
PMI certification (PMP) preferred.

Duties :

Client is hiring a Project Manager role in the IT Infrastructure organization. We anticipate that the incumbent will be responsible for implementation of multiple small to medium sized projects in the Connectivity space.

The Infrastructure Project Manager plans, controls and executes a project or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills. This role involves delivering small and medium sized Connectivity Service Development projects and/or Connectivity deployment projects with low to moderate risk and complexity. You will be accountable for all aspects of successful on budget and on time project delivery of the projects assigned to you. This role will utilize your skills within Project Management, Risk Management,

On a daily basis you collaborate with the Connectivity Portfolio team (internal customer) and a range of stakeholders including Client's business managers, service providers and onshore & offshore suppliers. Your team as well as your scope is Global and remote in nature.

Select and use fit for purpose project management methods to manage the project lifecycle.
Works closely with the connectivity portfolio team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Assures successful backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle as defined by the Client's Project and/or Agile Delivery Framework.
Mobilize and lead a team with the necessary skills, composed of a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries.
Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
Actively identifies and removes impediments to ensure delivery of service development deliverables based on the service/product roadmaps and timetables established by the connectivity portfolio team
Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.
Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
Ensure appropriate plans and engagements are developed and executed.
Proactively analyze variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately.
Is and stays current on key connectivity technology developments that could involve a change to or improvement of products managed
Apply Client's project management and IT control/assurance methodologies, standards and processes including architecture, information risk management, and transition to support. Work with information risk management staff to ensure new technology and services deliverables are secure by design.
Manage a change control process in relation to the project/programme, gain agreement for revisions to the scope from project sponsors, and ensure projects continue to meet business objectives. Evaluating and making recommendations/decisions on technical options as appropriate.
Provide effective leadership to assigned project staff ensuring compliance with project standards, processes, and controls.
Requirements
