o Able to conduct effective impact analysis to come up with estimated effort in developments with respect to product launching, defect fixings, and enhancements to support multiple functions & integrations in the core policy administration system
o Support incident management to provide root cause analysis and provide corresponding solution for business to acknowledge and close the ticket.
o Fully understanding of Gibraltar BSN defined SDLC and release management cycle to produce working software based on the Functional Spec Document (FSD)/Business Requirement Document (BRD) with fully tested, expected quality and meet timeline.
o Able to interpret FSD/BRD and translate into application coding to execute the business logics as expected.
o Demonstrate good team playing quality to work with peer and supervisor.
o Able to carry out feasibility study and perform R&D for system enhancement and improvement based on collected user requirement
o Able to provide UAT support to business users to ensure smooth testing leading to sign off and go live.
o Able to provide Production Support, day end and month end support whenever as requested.
Skills/Knowledge
o Hands-on experience in Informix programming and stored procedure
o Demonstrated competency & solid understanding in life insurance business domain knowledge in end to end policy lifecycle management
o Problem solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments
o With the insurance background and working experience
