Job Description
Job Responsibility
Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, server management, domain management, networking etc.
Troubleshooting, setting up and installing new computers, networks, software and responding to IT
related matters/breakdowns.
Responsible to support & maintain existing POS software, and support helpdesk for POS users to ensure its smooth daily operation and optimum performance.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolve system or application issues, computer software and hardware faults.
Managing, verifying and support ERP related issues.
Ensure security of data, network access and control structures.
Provide support in sourcing and liaising with supplier on IT related purchase.
Assist and involve in application implementation.
Explore and propose new technology and solution in the market.
Liaise with third party vendors on hardware and software support.
General IT administration tasks involving fixed asset register, documentation etc.
Assist in any ad-hoc task as and when is assigned by immediate superior.
Job Requirements
Must be familiar with F&B POS software (Zeoniq, Xilnex) including managing items, promotion, discounts, vouchers etc.
Willing to travel to outlets, including public holiday and after working hours when needed.
Candidate must possess a Diploma/Bachelor in Computer Science /Information Technology/Networking IT or equivalent
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
Possesses technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server, Network Infrastructure Administrator, system security, desktop windows, antivirus solutions, network security and etc.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, pro-active, and resourceful.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision with good time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
