Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities:
oTo oversee the design process from conceptual phase through construction, ensuring the design idea is consistent and well executed.
oReview the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
o Lead day-to-day activities like design development, cost and quality control, project monitoring and liaison with consultants, contractors and authorities.
oReview the design with both hotel operator and client and lead client-consultant, site and technical meetings.
oPrepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and meet contractual conditions of performance
oAnalyze, manage and mitigate risks
oResearches new products, material, and design methods and presents new approaches to encountered problems.
oEnsure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
oAssist the Cost & Contracts Dept. in project tenders, quotations, pre-qualification and identification of suitable contractors, suppliers and consultants.
oAssist on CCC and CPC issuances.
oAnd all other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
oBachelor Degree in Architecture/Engineering/Project Construction Management/Interior Design or equivalent.
oMinimum 15 years of experience in Construction Industry (Building or Infrastructure Projects) leading management of mid to large sized projects.
oPreference in handling 5 star hotel projects an added advantage.
oVery strong project leadership skills and ability to direct client, consultant and contractor teams.
oGood writing and communication skills in English.
