Job Responsibilityo Oversees and manages the work of reporting Human Resources associate and encourages the ongoing development of the Human Resources associate.
o Defines all Human Resources training programs, and assigns the authority / responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs.
o Provides necessary education and materials to managers and associates including workshops, manuals, associate handbooks, and standardized reports.
o Leads the implementation of the performance management system
o Establishes an in-house associate training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new associate orientation or on boarding, management development, production cross-training, the measurement of training impact, and training transfer.
o Responsible for recruiting, selecting and training suitable experienced and motivated associate in order to acquire and maintain guests service standards at all the time.
o Participates in executive, management, and company associate meetings and attends other meetings and seminars - when it required.
o Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements including any related to the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and so forth.
o Maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits.
o Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws.
o Approves all information submitted and serves as the primary contact with the company employment law attorney and outside government agencies.
