Job ResponsibilityREQUIREMENTS:
o Candidate must possess Diploma in Environmental; Health & Safety or any Diploma in related field.
o At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
o Have basic knowledge of OSH requirements and compliance.
o Have attended safety courses such as SSS or OSH-C would be an advantage.
o Experience in port operation is an added advantage.
o Strong command of spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
o Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles are to support the various responsibilities of the HSE Department including:
o To check, verify and ensure that respective departments have rectified CAPA systems from the checklist. Report any delay or CAPA non-compliance to HOD every month.
o Review, verify and update compliance status for IMS HIRAO, HIRARC and EAI for operations and projects activities at Kuantan Port.
o Arrange a monthly HSE work schedule including a work plan for the HSE Coordinator team.
o Plan, Participate and verify toolbox briefing with the contractor.
o Identify potential risks/hazards in Kuantan port operations.
o Assist and ensure the implementation of HIRARC control measures.
o Establish weekly reports for HSE Improvement progress.
o Maintain and update the site HSE record database.
o Lead in the investigation of incidents, submit reports to management, and complete corrective and preventive action follow-up.
o Carry out regular site inspections and audits.
o Participate in any HSE meetings (Department meetings, Projects Coordination & etc.)
o Establish an HSE observation report.
o Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.
