Job Responsibility

• You will oversee every aspect of quality assurance and quality control in the firm
• You will take the lead in setting-up the food safety standard HACCP/GMP/MESTI/ HALAL and FSSC22000 systems
• You will ensure that manufacturing processes and storage practises are complying to standards
• You will lead and organise internal- and certification audits and liaise with authorities and halal bodies
• You conduct Quality Control activities on incoming raw materials, packaging and intermediate products as well as finished goods
• You will prepare samples for external laboratories when required
• You will conduct (refresher) training for operators - workers - staff
• You will handle and monitor pest control activities both internal and external
• Other assignments as the case may be

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology - Food Science
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in food manufacturing industry
• Hands-on experience in setting-up food safety standards i.e. HACCP/GMP/ MESTI/ HALAL and ISO/FSSC22000 is a MUST
• Past interactions with authorities such as Ministry of Health, Jakim and external auditing firms are essential
• As our internal trainer you will train staff on personal hygiene, HACCP, GMP, CCP and other related food safety aspects
• You are diligent, confidential and able to follow procedures put in place
• Candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to use Microsoft Office etc.
