Job Responsibility1. Responsibility for all accounting activities relating to financial reporting.
2. Develop and maintain accounting principles and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial statements issued.
3. Oversee, manage accounting records, systems, controls, and procedures to enable efficient cost accounting and reporting for analysis and budgeting purposes.
4. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
5. Prepare financial management reports, and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closes.
6. Prepare yearly budget/forecast, cash flow, and business plan.
7. Develop and maintain financial databases, financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
8. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including audit, taxation, and internal control.
9. Prepare and implement tax planning and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
10. Handling tax computation and tax estimation and ensuring compliance with all tax compliance.
11. Liaising with other external parties such as company secretary, bankers, lawyers, and government authorities on related job matters. Liaising with bankers on funding requirements.
12. Prepare and update monthly cash flow estimates and ensure effective treasury management.
13. Supervise accounting staff and manage the accounting activities within the appropriate time frame and budget.
