Job ResponsibilityPOSITION SUMMARY:
Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction. Coordinates building space allocation, layout, and communication services. Assures that facilities activities comply with company and regulatory requirements. Works under minimal supervision; leads projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Documents building changes in electrical, plumbing and compressed air.
2. Documents office and equipment reconfigurations.
3. Maintains current drawings of buildings, communications, site, and parking layouts.
4. Maintains schedules for Facilities projects.
5. Plans spaces for new employees.
6. Tracks measurements for Facilities and Health and Safety.
7. Assists Facilities Manager with day to day projects and special projects.
8. Works on new building projects which require attending construction meetings, and provides equipment and office layouts.
9. May be required to travel to remote offices to work on space related projects.
10. Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC copier, fax machine etc. )
SKILLS:
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
2. Good organizational skills.
3. Good project management skills.
4. Hands on experience with PCs and related programs such as Word, Excel, and
Auto-Cad.
