Job ResponsibilityDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform ESH risk analysis and management, review work / job hazard analysis and implement controls for identified hazards.
2. Plan and implement ESH programs and activities, monitor and improve the performance and effectiveness of the implemented ESH programs and activities.
3. Work together with ESH committees and other relevant parties to ensure smooth running and effectiveness of ESH programs and activities to be carried out.
4. Develop, establish and review the workplace safety management policies and standard for all the operating sites to ensure that it is in compliance with relevant statutory requirements at all times.
5. To continuously promote awareness of project requirements as well as ESH practices throughout the project site and ensure that it is observed and adhered by the site and relevant parties at all times.
6. To continuously improve the ESH Management System by coordinating or conducting regular internal audits, awareness briefings, training and induction programme.
7. To be a team player and proactive in promoting safety, health and environmental matters at the workplace.
8. Report to superior/management for any disciplinary issue which may cause safety issue at site.
9. Responsible on environmental act and procedures.
10. Any other safety related matters within the scope of site safety are necessary
11. To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
1. At least a Diploma / Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health or equivalent.
2. Registered with DOSH as Safety & Health Officer (Green Book).
3. Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity. Candidates with experience in a high rise are preferred.
4. Familiar with legal requirement and knowledgeable in environmental, safety & health practices.
5. Able to work under fast track project and tight schedule and long hour.
6. Result oriented, possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and commitment to efficiently meet deadlines.
7. Good construction knowledge and coordination skill with contractor & direct labor.
