Job ResponsibilityDescription
Identify environmental aspect and impact of the plant and developing the environmental data control and monitoring plan.
? The environmental data includes utility/fuel consumption (electricity, water and fuel), pollution (effluent discharge, scheduled waste, general waste and soil) and packaging.
? Develop and establish accurate data measurement and reporting from the field data measurement, computation, factors used and calculation.
? Liaise and coordinate with external party for environmental testing (water, soil, air and waste)
? Communicate with respective area owner for any significant deviation or outliers. Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective action plan.
? Perform gap analysis of existing documentation against the required by management system for environmental and energy.
? Plan, develop and establish an adequate set of documentation to address the management system requirement.
? Work and coordinate with respective section head to have the documents being developed and implemented.
? Coordinate with external parties for consultation work including awareness training.
? Liaison with certification body for necessary audit, assessments, corrective action and certification.
? Stay updated with environmental regulatory requirement and to comply with.
? Responsible for mandatory reporting requirement by authority with relate to environmental aspect.
? Assist in getting and maintaining environmental permits/licenses.
? Perform regular site inspection and surveys for environmental compliances.
? Assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation/improvement plans to reduce environmental impacts.
? Assist in environmental audits and implement audit recommendations.
