Job Description
Job Responsibility
Teaching and motivating students from children aged 4 to secondary school students.
Has a passion for teaching with good knowledge and ability in handling and teaching children and teenagers.
Maintaining discipline and order in the classroom, including the required SOPs for social distancing and ensuring that students practise all safety precautions.
Teaching using the provided interactive whiteboard and being familiar with online tools when presenting lessons and class projects.
Teaching lessons according to the prescribed scheme of work and using the textbooks provided.
Updating and maintaining documentation related to teaching and class administration according to deadlines set.
Preparing lessons plans in advance with minimum supervision.
Teaching online when the need arises.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in teaching English.
Preferably two years of experience teaching children and teenagers. Fresh graduates may apply.
Enthusiastic and motivated, with a pleasant personality and positive attitude.
Knowledge and familiarity with the Cambridge Assessment English exams is an advantage although not vital.
Able to teach on weekends and with minimum supervision. (Classes are usually on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday depending on the teacher's availability.)
Willing to learn and is a good team player.
Has completed two vaccination doses for COVID-19, received a booster dose, or registered for one (proof will be required).
