Job Responsibility English Teacher Full Time Start date: August 2023 Experience : 5 years and above teaching experience in A-Level & IGCSE
We seek to appoint a highly competent and inspirational English Teacher who will support the Department in promoting high academic standards and a love for Literature. Candidates must possess degree and postgraduate teaching qualification and having at least 5 years teaching experience in A-Level & IGCSE are essential. HELP International School is an Apple Distinguished School, and as such, a strong interest in educational technologies would be an advantage. The use of well differentiated, formative assessment practices are required. A willingness to contribute to the school's extra-curricular holistic programme by getting involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, coaching sports or assisting with the school Arts programme is needed.
Key Requirements Include: o Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in English Language or English Literature o Solid grounding in classroom management and school procedures o Solid knowledge of subject matter including subject-specific curriculum and assessments o Ability to communicate effectively with all students, staff and colleagues o Flexibility and high adaptation skills to work successfully in an unpredictable school setting o Organization and communication skills o Familiarity with, or prerequisite experience in working with the National Curriculum of England and Wales. o Ability to teach in an English language environment with a strong level of fluency. o Must have international working experience in other schools globally.
