Job ResponsibilityThe Job:
1. Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
2. Get involved in brainstorming, designing, and implementing state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure/architecture that have high performance and scalability.
3. Set up and optimise the cost of infrastructure and tooling.
4. Work closely with the Engineering team to identify and resolve system issues, and perform incidence management & root cause analysis.
5. Strive for continuous improvement and build Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
The Person:
1. Possesses a Bachelor's Degree/Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
3. Experience in operating on cloud environments (preferably AWS) or any other Linux based infrastructure.
4. Experience in standard infrastructure technologies: storage, networking, servers, load balancing, DNS, etc.
5. Experience in Infrastructure as code services such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
6. Experience in provisioning and managing containerized environments such as ECS, EKS and Docker.
7. Knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python.
8. Knowledge of source code management such as Git.
9. Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS CodePipelines.
10. Experience in configuring and managing relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Mongo would be a big plus.
11. Possesses good command of English, a positive work attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels.
12. Able to work well under pressure and accepts criticism positively.
13. Pleasant disposition, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
14. Passionate in learning and expanding their general and technical knowledge.
