Job ResponsibilityResponsibilities
o Database design and implementation
o Perform data migration from existing database to new database and verify the migrated data
o Perform data patching to ensure data integrity of the migrated data
o Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
o Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
o Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
o Design and prepare for Disaster Recovery Plan and perform test on recovery plan from time to time.
o Design and maintain backup and data archiving plan for all databases of the company.
o Responsible for install and setup new databases and database server.
o Create SQL or ETL scripts or using SQL tools to help ease production operations and any data migrations
o Appropriately balance design principles and technology standards with product timelines and
o customer specific requirements
o Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports
o Must be able to work under minimum supervision
Requirements
o Performance Tuning on T-SQL, Managing SQL Server (MS-SQL)
o Experience managing IT infrastructure, Platforms, Servers and Databases
o Strong working experience on database administration (MS-SQL and NoSQL) with an understanding
o of programming language (.NET C#/C) and SOA based technologies (WCF).
o 2-year experience in Windows Operating Systems and SQL Server 2012 / 2014/ 2016
o 2-year experience in Technical Documentation - Creation / Maintenance (Design Specifications,
o Operations Manuals, Support Documents, Release Notes)
o Results oriented, excellent analytical and organization skills
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Relevant working experience in telecom operators, banking or financial industry is preferred
