What will you be engaged in?
As SOCAR's Cybersecurity Engineer, you will:
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
Troubleshoot security and network problems
Respond to all system and/or network security breaches
Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
Participate in the change management process
Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities
Routinely conduct penetration testing
Conduct testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system
Are you the ideal candidate?
Proficiency in Python, Node, Go and/or Power Shell
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity / IT / Computer Science / Programming
Experience with the functionality, operation, and maintenance of firewalls and various forms of endpoint security
Up to date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and hacker tactics
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure
Two years of work experience in cyber security-related duties such as incident detection and response, and forensics
